Birthday Debussy

It's that time of year again. Today is my mom's birthday, so here's me playing Doctor Gradus ad Parnassum, the first piece in Debussy's Children's Corner.

The other recording I have of this is from 1976, which I didn't listen to until I did this year's recording. I was surprised that I took it at about the same speed. I do vary the tempo a bit more now, though, especially at the end where I speed up a bit more. More pedal in some places now, too; I'll need to think about whether I want to lighten that up.
